The League was created in response to a need in our community to play ball together, to unite this area for the benefit of the game and the sport. The organization has the full support of the Clovis High School Baseball Staff. We will lean on them for coaching clinics, baseball camp and some player development.

The League will operate a Draft League in which a manager will have a few picks (i.e. assistant coach’s children) and the rest of the players will tryout and be drafted. The age divisions we will carry are T-Ball, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U. Beginning with the 10U division “open bases” are introduced.

Players are welcome from all addresses in Clovis as well as Portales, Grady, Melrose, Texico, Farwell, Friona, Sudan, Elida, Floyd, Grady, Broadview, Santa Rosa, Ft. Sumner, you get the idea. Every effort will be made to match players with others from their town. Divisions with enough players for more than one team from another city will be required to draft amongst themselves.

Clovis Baseball Association will be affiliated with USSSA as this provides the greatest playing opportunities in our area.
